PCSO Logo Pride Community Services Organization – Lexington, KY – PCSO has long been a supporter of TransKentucky. Their mission is to improve the lives of people in the sexual minority and gender expansive community of Central and Eastern Kentucky.
Fairness Campaign Logo Fairness Campaign – Louisville, KY – Fairness is Kentucky’s leading LGBTQ advocacy organization. Founded in 1991, Fairness understands that equality is something that all Kentuckians deserve. The continuing fight is have a comprehensive civil rights law at the state level that includes protections for sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression. Fairness understands the fight for equality for LGBTQ people intersects with ending institutionalized racism, promoting workers rights and other issues that impact our communities.
Lexington Fairness – Lexington, KY – Lex Fair is committed to achieve equal rights under the law, acceptance, and fairness for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people in Central Kentucky through local community action, grassroots advocacy, network-building, and educational outreach.
PFLAG – Washington, DC – PFLAG is the United States’ first and largest organization uniting families and allies with people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or queer. PFLAG currently has four chapters in Kentucky. They are:
Southern Equality Logo The Campaign for Southern Equality – Asheville, NC – CSE works across the South to promote full LGBTQ equality – both legal and lived. TransKentucky is proud to be featured in their Trans In The South toolkit.
TSTAR Logo TSTAR – Louisville, KY – TRANS + SEXUALITY TEACHING, ADVOCACY, + RESEARCH (TSTAR) is a consulting and research firm dedicated to increasing cultural competence in the South related to the lives of sexual and gender minorities, especially trans individuals.
